Well with Tyson hurt they have a chance to pull the trigger on Cesaro. What they do with him now will be telling.

Shame as I loved the Uppercats and I was happy with the spot they had and the matches they were putting on.

I disagree Cesaro made his opponent look better then himself. He pulls out a really impressive feat of strength pretty much every match. The commentators go on every match how impressive he is. It really makes no sense why he hasn't gotten a chance to reach the top.

I really think it is the "Too Swiss" thing. It's not that he's not charismatic(he's very charismatic imo), it's just in a different way. He has a very dry sense of humor I think and Vince looks for more outlandish and over the top.

I have never understood people saying that he isn't charismatic. I always thought he seemed great whenever in backstage segments. Now he might not be as strong in front of a live audience, but we don't ever seem to see him being given a chance.

The Too Swizz thing was a pure cop out on Vince's part. I think if Vince doesn't like somebody, for whatever reason, he won't get pushed as he should.

Cesaro is very over with the fans. He could, and for all intents and purposes, should be a huge name. He is not lacking. He is being held back. Imagine if Cesaro was afforded the push that Roman Reigns was, and he was to face off against Brock there at Mania instead. I don;t think the fans would have pi$$ed all over it the way they did with Reigns.

Can't see WWE pushing Cesaro at this stage. Once they give up on someone they rarely go back to them and get behind them. Vince McMahon is so skittish that first impressions are really important.

I don't know, it all depends what you believe the big time is. They're on T.V weekly.

Big time as in main-eventing, getting title shots etc.

I think Antonio Cesaro is far more deserving than Dolph Ziggler, yet Ziggler has gotten more.

Well, Ziggler was given an opportunity at a time where there were two world championships and he got the B title in the WHC. Now with only one title they don't take chances with who they put it on.

I wish that they would realise that it's okay to take chances. The world is an unpredictable place. I never really enjoyed Dolph Ziggler's brief run as the World Heavyweight Champion.

With no real competition they don't need to take risks, I'd like to see Cesaro win the US/IC Title at the very least.

How come they never changed Val Venis' name when he joined Right to Censor?

It didn't really need changing, did it? I know it rhymes with "penis" but I don't think there was enough of a connection/suggestion/pun to warrant changing it.

Documentary on BBC4 now, The Golden age of Wrestling. All about British wrestling back in the day. No rules back then lad

And yet he was Chief Morley two or three years later out of nowhere. Good enough point IMO.

No man, The Big Show is destined for the Intercontinental Championship. MVP of the roster.

Ryback is 1/8 to win while Big Show is 4/1 to win.

Big Show wins IC title, Kane wins MITB, Rollins retains.

    Authority always wins?

Is it a far-fetched idea that they might do this? Possibly, but definitely not impossible. Build them up as extra powerful, for a resurgent Lesnar to try and murder them all.

Do you think they'll take the belt off of Rollins at Night of Champions or MITB so he can feud with Lesnar at SummerSlam or will they have him go in as champ and have Lesnar get screwed because I don't see Lesnar getting the belt?

The nWo return in 2002 probably could've been done a lot better, here's a video of some guy from WhatCulture saying how he would book it.

Cheers for posting the Paddy Power link. I'm throwing a few pence on Dean Ambrose to win.

    Seen this discussed on Wreddit;

Anyone else sick of Ziggler lately?

I've really not been into him at all for months now really and this stuff with Lana is really bad. They are a terrible fit. That promo on RAW was utterly atrocious.

Melzter and Alvarev have a pretty interesting(interesting in thats its ****ed up) take on it. Basically real life imitates art and Ziggler is being careful to not piss Rusev off while he's with his girl.

Rusev is injured and he'll probably have to rest at home while she's on the road. Yeah.

From what i've read/heard, they're implying that Vince McMahon deliberately broke Rusev and Lana up, and put her with Ziggler in the hopes that it will create some sort of friction. In other words, Vince is trying to sabotage Lana and Rusez's relationship in real life, because he doesn't think anyone would ever believe Rusev could get a girl like Lana.

And from what i've seen there are people in the IWC who actually believe it's true. I myself am taking it with a grain of salt, but Vince has always been a bit crazy so who knows really.

I really, really don't think that's the case. I mean if you told me Vince himself wanted his bit off her I'd buy it more. But there's all sorts of riding going on in the locker room, I highly doubt it's something he concerns himself with either way, as in he'd do things he wanted creatively even if it'd cause friction too. But not deliberately. Could you imagine the lawsuits?!

What I heard Meltzer say was that in wrestling when a real life couple also work as a gimmick couple on screen and they break up on screen, they tend to then break up in real life.

Reddit often gets things wrong and misinterpret what gets reported.

I think when Brie Bella yells out "C'moooonnnnn, Nikki!", she's well aware of how annoying it sounds. It goes back to the problem of being a heel nowadays - you can't be one and be truly disliked by doing awesome stuff. You have to get on people's nerves.

The Bellas annoy me while both heel or babyface. Their overly loud moans and groans and general sound effects while in ring just sound so corny.
