Wasn't expecting Microsoft to say price first, especially at that price. They're really giving Sony as much ammo as possible to bury them later on. High price, pay for XBox Live, unless Sony change theres, and just from this press conference, lots of Smartglass features.

In fairness, our €499 includes tax, it's what we'll pay (or not pay) at the til. Their $499 doesn't include tax which will be added at the tills.

It's still overpriced though, especially when you have to pay another €50 to play online.

Wasnt the ps3 600 euro when it came out? So the 500 euro tag isnt shocking. We all knew it was going to be mental.
