Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whirlpool AWO/D 4305 washing machine "DEAD"

    Hi
    My Whirlppol AWO/D 4305 stopped dead mid wash this morning, The power source is fine, Checked the socket and fuses etc etc , No lights of any description coming on .

    Any help would be great, I am wondering if its a serious problem woukld i be as well off getting a new one as paying engineer call outs and paying for parts etc, The machine was purchased new in 2007.

    sounds like the pcb board is gone and if it is it's not worth fixing

    what part of country are you in?

    Had the same problem with a washing machine-repair man told me that same sh1t. However went to another repair company who fixed the pcb for 100e! Machine working fine now.

    You can buy a new pcb for some of those awo/d machines for way less than E100

    Jezus relax i was just making the point you could have gotten it repaired with a new pcb for around the 100 ya paid some lad to solder a dry joint that might go again at least with a new part its covered for 12 mths!

    I know this is a few years old but in case anyone is hits this tread looking for answers, you can get a pcb repair kit for this model Whirlpool from Ebay ,with all the components needed, for just over a tenner. (Some soldering required.)
