I still have this to finish (just after
    the gas attack
), so its definitely next on my hitlist.

Spec Ops down. Cracking game story wise.

Also finished Thomas Was Alone. Brilliant is just one superlative that doesn't do it justice.

To the folks feeling bad about not playing Batman. I bought Asylum in the Christmas sale of 2010 and only got around to playing it this month. :o

haha thanks!! Its just that they are sitting there untouched and ive been meaning to get around to them.

Batman City, Mass Effect 3, Skyrim... these are just some of the games I've sacrificed to my Natural Selection 2 addiction. I am currently trying to plow through Alan Wake (surprisingly better than I had expected) and Dungeon Keeper 2 (also better than I remember, but a little dated graphically).

I would like to get one of the other 3 off my list too, but like... time. Its not my friend atm. :(

I saw in a previous post you have them in steam. I'd recommend that you use a controller if you don't have one. I tried playing with a mouse for a while. Not easy.

Just finished borderlands 1 and 2 of it's dlc. Very enjoyable. Now onto borderlands 2. Also finished dear Esther but not sure that qualifies as a game.
Also hoping to finish MGS 2 this week on vita

If you have a PS3 controller, those work too.

No worries, they have all the same buttons as the 360 controller too so there's no drawbacks.

Mass Effect 3 done yesterday, thought the gameplay was still very clunky but a worthy finale for the trilogy, some real epic moments and I really enjoyed the last few missions. The ending was confusing and a bit of a let down but really it just reinforces the idea that the gaming community is the single biggest group of whingers and self entitled consumers out there, it was a great journey over the three games and for the series to be remembered for a few minutes at the end is just stupid, they've given me some of the most memorable gaming experiences I've ever had

Xbox backlog is cleared now aside from Dark Souls but looks like that'll keep me going for the summer, got Fable 3 for free as well so must give that a try at some stage

Thank you, you are literally the first person besides me that I have seen say this (although I admit Youtube comments probably weren't the best place to argue about it at the time )

Same here. The ending was absolutely appalling but the game was really enjoyable. I didn't feel the mass effect story or universe was anything special either so I was hardly invested in it. There's been much worse endings in games and no uproar.

Did you get the original ending, or the Extended endings though?

The original ending was absolutely terrible. It made no sense (how was the Normandy crew on the ship and in FTL, Starchild, Space grandad? etc...) and was all over the bloody place. Ok, there have been worse endings, but probably not for as high profile a game as the ME trilogy. And then kicking you back an hour or with a message to go buy some DLC? Not that surprising people were pissed.

To have such a fantastic trilogy end like it did was bloody awful. Really left a sour taste once i'd completed it. The EE ending was definitely an improvement though.

Loved the series overall though, and the last game.

Yeah I had the extended cut, from what I read that mainly just added some more dialogue with the
    kid/god/whatever
to try and make things clearer which for me at least didn't really work, it still left me totally confused

I'd fully agree it was a terrible ending, I'm not really sure what even happened,
I just walked towards the light which somehow set off an explosion that turned everyone's eyes green and seemingly they all lived happily ever after. Thought it was stupid as well that I spent the whole game fighting Cerberus only to have the choice of doing exactly what they wanted 5 minutes after I kill the elusive man..

Still though, it was an enjoyable game and the fact that the ending was making national news was ridiculously over the top, I've invested probably 150 hours in the series overall and didn't lose any sleep over it, the journey was what it was all about

my pc failed and so ive gone back to finish red dead redemption. Now im just playing to finish it, i dont think i could be enjoying this game any less. I dont think im far from finishing it, because what i thought would be the natural conclusion has passed, and im still playing.

I forgot how much i hate these rockstar gta snadbox games. Seriously, the first time i "herded" some cattle, it was an enjoyable possible sub mission. But forcing me to herd the cattle again and again. And escort missions, where NOTHING happens, just plot exposition that has already been covered in other missions.

This reminds me of how much i enjoyed the mindlessness of Saints Row 2. even though i played a complete asshat in that, I was routing for them a whole lot more.

PC back in a day or 2. then i think Psyconauts or Metro 2033. tropico is on the backburner till i get the free time next month.

Yeah, I hadn't played GTA in ages, but I heard the DLC was great. Had sold on GTA IV. Rebought it and got the DLC. I played for a bit, but playing GTA is sorta meh to me now. I'll try to go back to it. Did spend a lot on it after all, but really don't see myself getting GTA V.

I've been trying to complete Goldeneye Reloaded on the Ps3. Man this game sucks! It's just a bog standard FPS shooting gallery and the final few levels/areas are beyond hard that it's just stupid ie. when your're protecting Natalya while she's at the Goldeneye console soldiers are just spawning from everywhere at random and if you've to get by on luck not skill. It's nothing like the N64 game and nothing like any Bond film.

But I'm bloody determined to clear the crappy thing and get rid of it.
