Does anyone have notes on the Greenhouse Effect?
(My teacher was going to do it with us on the last day, as they forgot to do it before but they weren't in :/)

Burning anything releases carbon dioxide, methane and water vapour(green house gases). These gases rise, and form a blanket around the earth.

100% of light/heat enters earth, 25% is absorbed into the ground, 50% reflects off the ground and back into space, and the other 25% stays on earth because it can't reflect because of the blanket formed by the green house gases. The more we burn, the more gases will be released and the thicker the blanket will get. This means that more light/heat will be trapped in the earth and won't reflect back. Therefore ice caps will melt and water will be released into the sea. So sea level will rise. Not only that, increase tempetuture, decrease solubility(for gases). So, as the tempeture of the water rises, there will be less oxygen, so aquatic life will start dieing because of this.

    :)

Uhm, it's easy. Shouldn't have a problem if it does. If it didn't come up in 2012, 2011 and 2010, then it's a high chance it will this year.

Yeah it's not very likely at all, Rivers and people, urban redevelopment/renewal, how to protect from sea erosion, rocks, parts of the restless atmosphere chapter and how a town develops are likely questions for this year

Rivers came up in 2012 though...? I reckon it will be to do with the sea
