    Just took this snap of a Hot Air Balloon over Ballybricken a few minutes ago, was there an event or something on today.:

    Nothing special on this evening. The pilot & team just decided to make the best of the weather and wind direction and get a flight in. Great conditions tonight for balloon flying.

    It's often flown around this time of the year without an event going on. Fantastic pic! Rare to see the blue skies behind it :)

    I watched them setup in the park, never seen it being done before it was quite cool. They had a photographer going up with them. I reckon he got some good photos of the town.

    I took this one just after it lifted off:
