Hope they don't send Farrell + B Youngs on at the same time, would like to see the latter have some time with Sexton

    1/2p is a sniper

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,721 ✭✭✭clsmooth

1/2p has to be nailed on after the 6N. Great player. Can't really pick a weakness in his game. And that boot..

    1/2p momma mia!!

    What was the handicap -37?

Oh my god. Halfpenny's kicks have been - not just spot on, or even perfect - but beautiful to witness.

As would I, but I think it is the least likely pairing to play together in the tests.

Although, could happen in the last 10 of the 3rd test...:D

SOB and Heaslip make it? hard to see...That would mean not picking three of Lydiate (a Gatland favourite), Falaetau (the best 8 in the 6 nations and a Gatland fave), Tupuric (himself in great form, brilliant on Saturday) and Warburton (Tour Captain)...

    Only time will tell ;)

Love the Lions for this very reason

As it stands Halfpenny is nailed on for the test jersey.

    nice try from the WF..

i would have like to see this game last Week where the Force could have field a better Team,

But with the League on their Mind i can see why they would field a Weaker team.

Sexton and halfpenny are both nailed on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Ooh Sexton will be annoyed about that

They won't be happy letting a try in under the posts with an advantage in numbers.

    That was BEAUTIFUL

Tuilagi shot up too fast there.

With a Big Game this Sunday for the WF you can see why they would field a weak team

    Nice Try from BOD

Very nice try, like the way Bowe & Murray are linking up throughout the game

Ben Youngs and Owen Farrell on

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,234 ✭✭✭trouttrout

Next few minutes will be messy, Youngs has upped the pace nicely

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

:( Youngs and Farrell will be playing on Saturday, let Sexton have some
time with Ben,.. good to see Farrell playing with some confidence

  • Registered Users Posts: 967 ✭✭✭Anatidaephobia

That was great. I'm a fan of Murray, but Ben Youngs looked fantastic there.

Have a feeling Heaslip might not get MOTM, which would be a real pity

    halfpenny will MOM

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,800 ✭✭✭Tomtom364

Due to my new full time job I can't see any of this game and can barely follow live updates. (Also going to miss all the tests and all but 2 of the warm up games. Grrr)

Could anyone give me a brief summary of how well the lions are actually playing? Not just the score card.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,815 ✭✭✭Burgo

    halfpenny will MOM

Yeah no surprise if he does get it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 31,152 ✭✭✭✭KERSPLAT!

    1/2p or Heaslip for MOTM

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,234 ✭✭✭trouttrout

    halfpenny will MOM

If so it would be just for goalkicking which would be a shame considering some of the nice ruggby the Lions have played

Halfpenny has been quiet enough bar the kicking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,303 ✭✭✭ongarite

Croft looks to be knocked out after that.

Very well. Structured with gameplan. Very encouraging.
