Car on fire on Dual-Carriageway in Ballybrit after Burkes motors

    Just heard a large bang in the office followed by the smell of smoke. Looked out the window on the dual carriageway and there is a car on fire.

    Sorry about the late update, fire was put out fairly lively by the fire brigade, the car is now burnt out on the hardshoulder but traffic seems to be moving by without any problem. There might be restrictions later when they are removing it.

    Large black burnt patch on the hard shoulder inbound..plenty of small debris there.
