    What is the Electric Ireland phone number to ring to give meter readings and to cancel an account?

    Hi Qwerty88,

    You can call our Service department to submit meter readings and to manage your account. Their contact number is 1850 372 372 and their opening hours are Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm. You can email them also at service@electricireland.ie

    For your own reference, you can also submit meter readings through your Online Billing account, via email, here on Boards, or through our Meter Reading App.

    If you are closing your account, please have to hand your closing meter reading, details of who will be taking over the account (landlord/letting agent etc.) and your own forwarding address.
