Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi I am finishing up the Hibernia course in a month and want to start applying for substitute maternity leave positions etc. Am I wasting my time applying considering I won't have my teaching council number until october at the earliest? I have applied for a few positions already but I have no idea if boards of management will consider me without this number ...

    Hi there,
Has the ban on permanent jobs been lifted in Ireland?

I thought that when the pay cuts etc came in in Ireland, they also brought in a ban on obtaining permanent jobs for new teachers?
