Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Installing XBMC on Apple TV bOX

    I have an Apple tv Box.
    I'd like to install XBMC in this box to enable me to watch movies on my tv.
    Anyone got any experience/advise regarding this.
    Had a look in Youtube and it looks complicated.

    I havent any experience directly but I found the apps and instructions from these guys :http://www.xbmchub.com/blog/how-to-install-xbmc/ great for everything else I've installed xbmc on. Made it much easier.

    You need to Jail Break your Apple TV, if you know how to jail break an iphone this is something similar.

    their are tonnes of YouTube videos out there for this.

    your jail broken apple tv will still not be able to play MKV files.

    If your apple tv is the newer version 3 (you can tell if the box it came in says 1080p on the side) then you cant jailbreak it......yet.

    Checked it last night. It is a 1080p...which is the latest version, therefore cannot be
    jailbroken yet.
    Back to square one!!!

    Fantastic choice of programmes but I find that screen freezes. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

    If you have a jail broken iPad or iPhone you can AirPlay an app called movie box to your atv3. It's available on Cydia.
