    How do you mean types of settlement? As in the patterns or what?

    Settlement patterns/different settlement types nucleated dispered etc..

    Nucleated = Formed at crossroads, usually leads to the creation of towns if it grows for long enough.

    Linear = Forms along roads, usually roads close to another town.

    Dispersed = Located all over the shop, usually farm houses.

    There's not much to say, tbh.
