Is this the first year for this race, or has anyone any experience of it?

    Is there a route anywhere?

the race will start in monasterevin gfc grounds
the first 2.5k is flat then a hump back bridge over the canal then flat to the next bridge over the river barrow at 3.1k then a short run to another hump back bridge over the canal out to quiet roads with some running along the canal banks this will bring you to 6.5k then it back the way you came for the last 3.7 with a little change when you come back into town to finished back at monasterevin gfc grounds
where you can get tea/coffee and get something to eat
The race is on open roads but very quiet there will be marshalls on very junction and there will be one water station on the 10k
