The physical process of taking air into and out of the lungs.

I know hes not always right but Eoin Jackson's predictions also have very little plant based topics. This biology is not working for me at all! I'll be lucky to scrape a pass at this stage. Off to learn Irish now instead!

Can anyone tell me eoin jackson's predictions? I can't get YouTube :(

Have a look at someone's previous posts to see how reliable their 'tips' are. Quite an eye-opener.

This isn't advisable but If you know your other sections you can skip the topic of plants . I wouldn't advise it though.

Why do you put all of your posts in italics?

I'm still awake cramming for biology, I'm solely running off of caffeine at this stage! I swear to god, if that nephron diagram comes up, or anything to do with the bowman's capsule etc, my answer is going to be absolutely chronic. Oh the woes. Anyway, back to cramming....

Do we need to know the time/temperatures for the experiments involving incubation/waterbath.

I think we need to know the temperatures for those experiments. With regards to time, I'd say the examiners are more lenient with the answers, as long as they're not way off! :)

I'm just looking to scrape a C3 at this stage.
    Huzzah for minimal entry requirements!

Irish and Biology on the same day.

    ^ This is why I won't get the A.

So happy with that! Took no choices, did all the paper and was out by 4.15!
Nice experiments, unbelievably nice genetics we didn't even get a proper cross which I found strange?
Anyway not complaining, please let me see an A in august :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 274 ✭✭Jordan537

i thought it was easy enough, espeically the shorts, i answered every one with ease. long questions wernt so bad, bit more to think about but a good educated guess on each one and a few i knew 100 %, should be a good exam there.

Does anyone here know which experiments these were? #curious

That was surprisingly good, wouldn't say easy but pretty mild compared to most years. Answered every question on the paper except for a part C on mitosis of cells with time left over. Decent B I hope. :)

    I'll be lucky to pass!

Very happy with that paper! Required a detailed knowledge of the whole course though. So many people distraught at my centre. The endocrine q threw a lot of people.

Can't complain. Ecology questions were grand. Quick question though if I answered all 3 experiment questions
will they mark me out of my best two ?
