Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The shape of the stadium means they have to compromise between length and width or else not have a rectangular pitch

Tickets were 450dollars for bottom tear.. what nutjob wud pay for them to watch Ireland

That was an awful, awful attempt at a shot by Sammon. It nearly went for a throw.

It's a baseball stadium, not really built with football in mind.

To be fair to the Americans they go about planning stadiums intelligently with multi-purpose functionality unlike the way the Brits made a cock and balls of the Olympic stadium project

    No knowledge there from Sammon.

Sammon's only gonna last till around 60 minutes. Serious work rate out of him.

I like Sammon. Haters gonna hate

I can see Ireland giving a goal away with the sloppy passing at the back, at least they're "trying" to pass, but it's not of great quality

Pique showing once again what a liability he has become over the last two years.

0-0 draw at the half hour mark, I'm genuinely surprised!

Sammon hasn't won a single header yet

Yet we keep lumpin it at him,Ramos is very good in the air which also adds to that bewildering tactic.

He's being tag teamed with both piqué and Ramos jumpin against him for every header, Ramos is fantastic in the air and I've rarely seen him beaten, wouldn't be to hung up about him not winning many he's done very well so far with good touches and made a chance all on his own.

Forde has thumped every goalkick up to him and he misjudges/jumps under it each time..

They should be picking out Pique with the long ball

Pedro misses a fair amount of chances, for Barca too.

i think hes an honest hard working lad and with me being a big LOI promoter i should be a bit biased but i just dont think hes international standard. maybe he has room to improve but right now.. no.

i think even the likes of stokes or madden have a better presence in front of goal

That's some defence in fairness. Two lines of four on the edge of the 18. Doing well.

Can see the Germans mauling the Spanish team in the World Cup, their defence is so suspect.
