Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Say what you want about advertising, I'd love a Dunkin dounut and a coffee right about now.. Stupid pitch side ads :-(

No but I love football and one team plays football and the other team doesn't. I dont see how anyone could be proud of the stuff Ireland play.

in fairness theres a few young lads mixed with players that might not play when others are available. and we're holding them, i wouldnt be too disappointed with that......... so far

Do you think before you post? I'd be moaning if we played this way against a team we could get at, we have 6 championship players, 2 mls players a few premiership players and are playing against champions league world and European cup winners and you want us to try and play ball against them? If we did it would be 7-0 a similar shoreline to Bayern against Barcelona.

Horses or courses, honestly you Have no clue.

Aww shucks I was hoping we'd avoid Cesc, these type of games suit him.

Dammit Cesc stay off the field we have a chance of nicking this.

I don't mind Barca and love Spain for gambling reasons, but you would honestly make someone despise them both.

Hand on heart, do you want Spain to hammer Ireland here?

He reads Zonalmarking and the Guardian and says he coaches kids. The bloke just thinks he's Mourinho and genuinely believes he's teaching us stuff here whilst not realising he's coming across as an insufferable bore. His like turn up now and again.

He supported Chelsea, then Barca give it another year or two and he will be preaching about Bayern.

    Ireland doing very well here.

http://live.skysports.com/Live/football365/live.html claims that Spain have had 95.8% of the possession. That must be some sort of record (if true).

This keeps happening. The reference is to UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, not Man Utd's Anderson.

That's probably calculated on passes completed rather than % of time of ball held.

They're pissing about, Ramos and Fabregas backheeling it, Pique trying to beat four players there.

Ireland are treating it like a 0-0 draw will qualify for a tournament..

Funny thing is, of all the periods in the match, Ireland hadn't really been threatened for a while before that.

Goal! Goal la furia roja! Nice passing move in midfield involving Xavi and Busquets, they find Arbeloa and a great volley from Soldado. No less than they deserve.

Cox does the stupidest things at times. Every match he plays, always gives away stupid free kicks.
