Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Someone trying to turn a quick buck?
Phone him and say that you know it went for 950 and you'll be generous enough to offer the same 950;) so it's even-stevens. :D

That chap is a dealer, always has ad's on Donedeal. There is nothing wrong in what he is doing, its called business.

Still it does annoy you when you see something you'd like to buy.

Try and contact the old owner to ask about the millage. He might have just written the wrong millage.

I did that before on an ad by accident.

I'd say he just rounded it down to drum interest

Thats the bit I have a problem with. Nothing wring with trying to make a few pound (though its a bit stupid not to check the old add is gone) but 'rounding down' the milage by that much is plain dishonest, scummy act imo.

The old owner had a picture up showing the mileage though, and it was 34k

He could just be saying that to get people to look at it hoping that the extra 4k+ on it won't discourage them.
