What's the story with the Galway Bay Fm website, www.galwaynews.ie ? It seems to be frozen solid for the last 2 weeks. Also has anyone trouble tuning in to G B fm in the south of the county? It appears Keith and company thinks that Galway ends in Oranmore

I really don't know how to put this without being either insulting or condescending, so I'm justing going to advise that you read the content on the page.
    They've moved to www.connachttribune.ie

It appears that they've changed frequencies recently. See www.galwaybayfm.ie for a list of frequencies, but south Galway is now on 97.2 (probably to stop clashing with clarefm on 96.4).

This is what it says today
    May 23 2013 - 9:28am
Calls for Connemara airstrips to be opened for private use
06:10 County Galway has lowest proportion of children in the country
06:09 Two men get life sentences for murder of Gort resident
04:14 Two men found guilty of Gort resident's murder
01:58 Jury out in murder trial of Gort resident

I don't really know how to put this but today is June 11

There is no reception indoors of Galway Bay FM tonight on 97.2 and very poor reception outdoors in the Kinvara area

    Try http://www.galwaybayfm.ie
I find sometimes the car won't pick up 95.8 in the city, don't know what the frequency is 'down south'.

Try taking them at their word, they do occasionally have problems.

Have you figured out why the galwaynews site isn't being updated yet?

Hint the answer is in the spoiler in my original replay.

In fairness the new site, http://www.connachttribune.ie/ looks promising but it is a bit of a "Where's Wally" effort to find a link to it.
No mention of Galway Bay FM to be seen, am I missing something?

Think we have all 'found Wally' on this thread.
