Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it me or is it like all the icons have more contrast or something now?

I think its toned down the colour...less glary

Yeah, there's darkness to it now. It almost feels iOS 6ish now.

Think I preferred the old lockscreen and app icons. This is why I shouldn't use beta's, I get attached :(

Just OTA updated my ipad3. Seems much improved. All icons displaying correctly, graphical glitches gone, better contrast, more fluid.

Weirdly when I went to FaceTime on my iPad. I was asked to sign in again and associate a email/number with it. I have not got ios 7 on iPad. Never have. It's just on my iPhone.

This update has definitely made it smoother and the colours sharper or something hard to pin down.

    Really liking IOS7 so far.

I also had the problem of phone switching itself off and had to hard reset, hope this is solved now.

    Same here.

Just installed it there, (only took 2.5 hours to download) barring any new/major bugs I'll be sticking with this until the official update as it's fixed a glitch in one of my most used apps. Happy out :)

can some one post the md5 hash of iOS 7 beta 4 for iPad 3 if they have it,

my normal source for beta will take 12 hours to download, so I'm getting a torrent from a probably fine source, but you cant be too careful....

so md5 check would be good

    thanks

what are we supposed to do from here? Just install it from scratch.

Don't think I can face reinstalling all apps etc., yet again....

Just updated via wifi on my iP5. Pretty painless.

iMessage seems to be working 'out of the box' as it were (sorry!), and it's generally snappier.

My biggest design gripe is still there - the photo app switching between white and black views.
Also, I think I preferred it when you could only swipe the phone open in a specific zone.

    Or roll back...

    Or roll back...

Yes, I am aware that I can always undo and go back to iOS 6.

However, this is not something I have encountered with betas 1, 2 or 3 and, you will all concede, somewhat unusual, especially as no-one else appears to be reporting this.

Therefore, before rolling back or re-installing, I am simply reporting what has happened to me for the benefit of others and also wondering out loud if someone knows of a simple fix, before I go uninstalling, reinstalling, restoring, updating or indeed, rolling back.....

When iMessage and facetime didn't work for me i had to disable both, then disable automatic timezone setting, then reenable auto time and then facetime and imessage.

    Strange but it worked.

Yes, I have read of that fix, but it hasn't worked for me. First time anything so weird has happened.

Try disabling both. Leave them off and come back to it in a while. Maybe the server is overloaded.

Is your phone linked to a developer account?

Did that overnight, made no difference.

No it isn't, but that hasn't been an issue before.

Is it worth assigning a new email address to each and see if it makes any difference? Just a thought.

Have logged in with all my other Apple IDs and tried a plethora of SIMs. It's not that. Something has gone seriously wrong. I will wipe it when I get home now and maybe put iOS 7 on my iPad instead.

culabula, have you tried disabling iMessage/Facetime on all your devices/computers and then re-enabling it one by one starting with your iPhone? This seems to solve issues with iTunes Match and may work for iMessage as well.

No, but it's worth a lash. Ill try it now.

No luck there, either. Will definitely have to start again.

Mental. iPhone 5 is now back the way it was but in updating iPad 4 to iOS 7, it has buggered it to bejaysus.
