Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It is possible to roll back and you should do that.

Does installing this Beta invalidate the warranty on the phone if your not a developer? I have a phone going back to apple next week for a repair and was thinking of installing this on the phone before I do. Also is it still possible to revert to 6.1.4 when you are finished with the beta?

Also has anyone got a link for download?

I wouldn't bother installing if it's going back so soon. Might as well wait and put it on the new one. That's your best option.

Well he did and he didn't. The OP probably meant to get his UDID registered to allow the beta to authenticate, but he did explicitly say IMEI which would refer to unlocking.

Anyway, new beta today and i don't have enough space free to install!

EDIT: Deleted a few games! Lets see how i get on!

Yes sorry I meant UDID - carrier has the unlock done but when I inserted sim it it would not unlock. Rolled back to last non beta iOS and it unlocked.
Need to find link now to iOS 7 beta 6 to download to put back onto the phone.

of course if you read the notice in the developer portal you'd know this ;)
And if I read Nihongo For Dummies I could speak Japanese. :)

You can roll back as long as Apple are still signing 6.1.4

if the phone you are sending back is the one you are planning on using for ios7...then either restore to 6 before sending it or dont install 7

I've found the latest beta to have more bugs that the previous version.

The iTunes app takes a couple of attempts to open.along with numerous other app crashes.

    Battery life seems worse too.

Also have apple got rid of the panoramic wallpaper?i thought that was quite cool.

Anyone else not have the status bar (Network, time, battery etc) on the home screen but only in apps?

It's quite annoying, hope it's just a bug and not a new design feature.

I have the status bar on the home screen. Must be a bug on your phone. I have the latest beta.

Strange, I have the latest Beta too from last week, so how can I have a bug?

    I'll try a reset.

I had a similar bug in beta 2. It was one of the reasons I downgraded. The bar was actually there, but the text colour was changing and you couldn't notice it. It changes with your chosen background.

I had the other day and a restart fixed it. Probably a bug.

it's a beta, it's not optimised, it's also meant to be run on test phones where you don't really care how much disk space is taken up as you'll only ever have a handful of apps on it at anyone time.

Did anyone else not upgrade from the final beta and wake up to a un-activated phone today?
Trying to download iOS7 now from apple but it's going to take hours by the looks of it... has anyone a quicker link?

What's going on? I woke up and my iPad had an activation error.

    How do I fix it?

Go here and download the firmware that matches your ipad

    http://m.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=8500

Then put then the iPad into recovery mode

    1. First run iTunes on your computer.
    2. Now plug the iPad into your computer with the USB cable.
    3. Press and hold down the sleep/wake (power) button and the home button at the same time.
    4. Hold them down for 10 seconds.
    5. Release the sleep/wake button but continue to hold down the home button for 5 more seconds.
    6. The iPad screen will stay black, and iTunes will prompt that it has detected an iPad in recovery mode.

It will say to you that the iPad needs to be recovered, hold down the shift key and browse to your downloaded firmware.
When it is recovered it will ask you to restore from the last backup and say yes.
