Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah, nice one. Did that and the iPad is bricked now
Try it again and follow the instructions properly and it won't be.

Everyone goes on about I devices being bricked and they don't be bricked at all.

If you are unable to follow those instructions and yet you were able to load up the iOS 7 beta which was nearly the same.

I did just that the first time, repeated it, and it's still dead and totally unresponsive now.

And you've plugged it into the computer and iTunes doesn't recognise it? And plugged into another computer? And also left it plugged in to the wall charger for a few hours to make sure it has a proper charge?

It's almost impossible to brick an iDevice so if you did you should win an award!

It won't even turn on since, let one recognise anything else.

Can my prize be a new iPad by any chance?

Press and hold power and home for a minute while it's plugged into iTunes. Apologies if this has already been suggested.

Just checking but you do know an iPad will only charge properly from its own wall charger. Anything else might not supply enough current to charge.

Could be your iPads battery is just dead and you aren't charging it properly.
