Myself and my wife are thinking about moving to Kildare Town.
Could anyone share opinion about living at Ruanbeg Manor? Houses there seem to be nice also good value... Thanks.

Hiya, just wondering if you ever moved to Ruanbeg Manor? We are in the same boat now & id like to know if you found the area good to live in. We have no idea about Kildare Town, Ruanbeg looks nice, but is there any down side?? Thanks 😊

Hi, we lived there for few years and I would not recommend it, but I guess it would depend on the exact place. Some areas of Ruanbeg are better than others.

I'd recommend (I kinda regret we didn't do it) renting there first.

There are better areas in Kildare Town for sure, like Cloghgarret.
I think if I was looking today I'd consider outskirts of Naas or Newbridge.

PM me if you need more info about Kildare Town.

I lived in Ruanbeg for several years and moved out due to the level of rental properties in the estate. The neighbours did not care how they kept the houses and the amount of parties at the weekends were awful. I moved to Rowanville and while the houses can be that little bit smaller they are far superior structural wise. It has a real community feel to it and while it is closer to town we still have that country feel to it. Best decision I made was to leave Ruanbeg.
