Just curious, with the current plot to assassinate Enda Kenny, is there any other provision in law other than murder if this was committed? I know in the US they have a separate provision for assassination of president/vice president, etc. Irish plot uncovered -…

A threat on Facebook does not amount to a "Plot".

To the best of my knowledge there is no specific offence in relation to assassination of a domestic politician in this jurisdiction.
