Not sure about midweek meets. You'd have to look at the individual clubs websites. Think https://www.glenwalk.com/ do Wednesday walk.

I'd be out mid week on the hills a bit, checking odds & ends and often see groups of walkers midweek. Mostly on the wrong side of 50, like myself So people with no work ties etc. I don't know if they are in formal clubs though, more likely to be groups of like minded friends and contacts.

If you are successful in finding midweek walking group - would really appreciate if you would share details - I've been looking - but with no success. Perhaps we will have to set up our own group!!

The Irish Ramblers club have 4 different graded walks on Thursdays, you'd need to do their introductory hike before joining, these are held once a month on Saturdays and are about 10 kms long.
