Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Grasslin QE7 plus help?

    Hello everyone.

I'm new in Limerick, Ireland and electric heating in general, in Spain we use gas for heating so I'm a little bit lost.

    I have this one:

    GrasslinwaterheaterJan20121.jpg

But the QE7+ version. Anyways the case is the same.

I don't know how it works or what I'm supose to do with any of the wheels.

My first impression was that the big wheel was to select at what time you want the heating system to heat the tank but I'm not sure. Then I don't know if that tank is used for bath only or also for the sinks of the apartment.

I don't know if the tank is always full of water or only has hot water so if you never heat it again will be empty.

I don't know neither how the small wheel works. I thought it was to give hot water between 15 to 120 min to the sinks to use it immediately just in case your tank didn't have hot water.

Maybe there is a closed valve or something, but I would like to figure how it works before calling my landlord.

The shower (it has two bathrooms) is electric but with no tank, just an electric shower, is the other bathroom (bathtub and sinks of all the house) what I'm worried about.

    Thanks!

Thanks, I already saw it before posting the thread, the thing is that I don't really understand the function of each thing. If the big wheel is to heat the tank water and/or the small wheel is to heat the immediate flow of water... just want to know how it works in order to understand it better.

MOD POST: Going to allow this thread to run a little longer, but after that anyone who can help the OP will have to do so by PM, or the OP will have to try asking in the Plumbing & heating section of the Home & Garden forum. Link for that forum is below.

Oh thanks, can you move it now? didn't see the other forum (actually I only browse Limerick) but if you could move it would be great (and clean it if possible). Thanks!
