    Delete this if it's somewhere else although I had a look and couldn't find a thread on it...

    ...does anyone know the current state of play of rental properties being rented out without BER ratings or BER certificates being shown to the prospective tenant - and how it affects the validity of the lease? All I've read so far and it's a bit dated now is that it is an offence for a property to be rented without producing a BER certificate but that it does not affect the validity of the lease. Does anyone have more information on this?
