Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Page loading problems on Boards Touch

    Does anyone else get pages like the below while browsing the Boards touch site? I've been experiencing it almost constantly on 3G (O2) but never on wifi for quite some time now with two different iPhones. I've tried everything (clearing cache, cookies, etc) and the only solution is to keep reloading the page until it loads correctly. Deleting Evernote and Dropbox also fixes it.

    I can only assume it's some sort of O2 problem but it happens almost exclusively with Boards.

    Any ideas?

    I'm also on O2, I used to get that all the time, on all sorts of websites, usually where the connection was slow.

    It was always particularly noticeable on sub-domains. Initially I though it might have been one of the Apps so I went through a process of removing them all, still the same problem though (that was a while ago).

    Subdomains also caused problems connecting to WiFi on Irish Rail/Bue Eireann, would never work until I switched the O2 data connection off first.

    why the hell hasn't boards launched their ios app yet? Or at least be supported on tapatalk.
    boards mobile is a major PITA..:mad:

    I suspect that boards is now so far removed from a standard VBulletin install that Tapatalk isn't an option.

    Thanks Graham, very helpful. I hadn't considered that it was the sub-domains. At first I thought it was Google ads, but I have ads disabled and it's still happening. Been having a lot of problems on O2. Think I might have to switch.

    As for a Boards iOS app, they developed one but apparently it wasn't very good so it was abandoned.
