I just read something about Cocoa mulch being toxic to cats and dogs. Apparently it contains the same toxic ingredients that is found in chocolate and caffeine. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks, that's good to know. My two will eat anything that isn't nailed down and I'm planning on sorting out a new garden bed at some point over the summer. The area will be fenced off by then (my garden is turning into a maze of fences and runs ) but better safe than sorry!
