North Wall

Hi!

I am considering to live in North Wall (New Wapping Street).
Is this place safe? Is it better than Mountjoy Square?

Have lived in the area previously and would say it's safe but you would still need your wits about you as with anywhere in the city.

A lot of IFSC professionals living down that way in Spencer Dock & Castleforbes etc.

Rule of thumb for the area is if walking towards the city follow the Luas tracks. ie: avoid walking around Sherriff st & Seville place especially at night.

Never lived in Mountjoy Square so can't comment from that aspect.

Place is generally quiet as a mouse. Might be a few people milling about when there's something on up the road in the O2 but mostly just passing through.

Lived there for 3 years (west road) and was grand, Lot's of "older" folk around and quite friendly. Massive new Lidl just been built there as well so handy for shopping one downside is bus service is ****

Plans cancelled. The rent was too expensive and I couldn't afford that.
