This to me is about as much performance as you will get for a 1k rig. While that xeons overclock will be limited to 4.1ghz it's not much lower than a 3570k or 4670k would clock but it has hyper threading which should be useful for gaming in the near future with consoles using 8 thread cpus. It's basically an i7 3770 running 100mhz slower and without the igp. 2 x 660 gtx has about the same performance as a 780 gtx costing twice the price.
