Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ekranas PLEASE. We can win that game going off the Shams game last July.

Molde or Legia would be good trips otherwise.

Lovely stuff, always wanted to go to Molde. Not going to completely rule out going through either with the way they are playing, but it'll be tough. Their main man in midfield, Eikrem, might be gone by the time the game comes around which is a plus.

is that draw on the stream aswell? and if so what time?

glentoran and linfield would be nice draws for our two, fvck all travel costs and probably favourites to go through.

that molde team can score all the same, their two wins were a 4-0 and 6-0. must be the influence of ole gunnar solsjkaer

Not a bad draw for Sligo, with any luck OGS will move on from Molde in the summer and the team will weaken. Think he had them playing great stuff.

Some draw for the Cliftonville fans, they won't know who to cheer on!

I'm sure the media will focus on his involvement. He used to be a sub for Yanited.

Don't think I can afford to go to Norway. Beat this crowd and get away in the next one!

Going Ryanair to Rygge and then getting the train north could be a more cost-effective option?

Looks to be. Long train though! Its the cost of actually being there for a week or so that'll kill us. I'm hearing 8 euro per pint

We were paying 1 euro in Slovakia last year!

Some already have focused on Ian Baraclough being the only English Manager in the competition.

Norway is crazy expensive actually yeah. Heading over for 2 Tippelaegen games in a fortnight but that is only a 2 night trip. Best of luck, I'm a bitter bastard who wants to see all our domestic rivals lose but if I was to pick any of the Irish to win it would be Sligo.

I think its in all our interests for all the Irish teams to do well.

I tend to find that I cheer on every LoI team when they are playing in Europe. Even Rovers in the EL Group!!

No it's in the interest of the teams who have a chance of qualifying for Europe. The other Irish teams in Europe doing well just gives them more resources to help them continue to do better than us and sign players that we might have nicked otherwise.

Looking forward to a trip to Sweden. Anyone have any recommendations for accommodation etc from previous visits?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,056 ✭✭✭Sparks43

In 2009 Žalgiris was left inoperative and the club owners refused to sell, resulting in the team and fans continuing the club under the name of VMFD Žalgiris

    Sounds like Cork :pac:

I leave my differences aside when comes to Europe. I wish every team in LOI best in Europe.

If it means the league getting some better publicity then I'm all for it.

Yeah, to be fair I understand the sentiments, they just aren't mine. I have no real affection for the league, just my club.

Perhaps a little bit hypocritical considering nothing makes me warm to someone more than finding out they support their local club, wherever that is.

Are they doing pots of 10 for the second round or is it just dumb luck?

Scottish team for Pats please :D

    Hibernian preferably

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,379 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Seems like another decent draw for Pats if they get through?(Not travel-wise!)

    FC Pyunik (Armenia)/FK Teteks(Macedonia)

    Derry heading to Trabzon.

Drogs to play Hibs if they somehow manage to beat Malmo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,056 ✭✭✭Sparks43

    Offs Macadonia or armenia

FK Teteks (MKD) v FC Pyunik (ARM) vs Pats or the swan eaters

    Malmo can get Hibs:pac:

Derry will probably be the only game with TV coverage, maybe ourselves vs Molde but I cannot remember if Norwegian TV covered the 2nd Q round last year.

Derry City also the #1 trend worldwide on twitter right now :pac:

Plus its looking costly to get there.

Gold dust. I might sell mine for a few hundred and stay in the pub. Not that pub though, obviously!
