Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not too many whackings tonight, not yet anyway. Minsk and Gefle both scoring 5 though.

    2-0 now to the Lithuanians.

Game over now. Probably just as well for Pats though. It'll allow them to concentrate on the league.

Are things really run that badly there that they depend on European runs every year?

I thought I read they had some guy who covered their losses or something?

We're gonna lose too. Along with Derry.

    Disappointing European year.

On a plus note, at least we won't have to be reminded about "Irelands European Club" this year.

wouldnt be too defeatist i think they have a good chance. derry got the toughest draw of the lot though so im not overly confident for them

Wasn't meant to be for Drogs. A sucker punch just on half time and then at the end when Drogs were throwing everything forward.

Spot the Ireland's European Club lark in the comments section of the below video..... could it be our very own D-Man!?

Very, very disappointing result for Pats and a very poor performance by all accounts. Particularly disappointing given that Zalgiris are no great shakes and the next round would have been winnable too. Looking like it's going to be a very barren year on the European front for the LOI.

Hope we're not heading back to the dark old days when any kind of result against absolutely anyone was to be applauded.

Hearing Sligo won't give extratime.ie space in the press box for their European game. Lot of people not happy about it.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

The Zalgiris match was a much tougher proposition than a game against Armenian opposition who have one of the worst leagues in Europe. If they had got by the Lithuanians they would have got by the Armenians no doubt about it.

Drogs had a seriously difficult game and its beginning to show what our loss of seeding has done.

Sligo against Molde - thats a really tough draw as well. And why do LOI clubs keep shooting themselves in the foot like with this extrame.ie business. If Sligo progress I would be surprised considering Moldes recent results in the Norwegian League.

Shows a lack of class from Rovers, I also thought the Shels tweet, which has since been deleted showed a lack of class.

Something along the lines of giving out about the fact that extratime weren't being given a place in the press box, ended with #ForzaMolde

Bit stupid to be using the club social media to air your own opinions but what was said is no biggie.

Zalgiris look a decent side, but every goal Pats conceded was poor - very disappointing considering Pats' excellent defensive record this season (and last).

And I'm not sure I'd agree that Pyunik would be a considerably easier tie - they're a decent side and I wouldn't be surprised to see them knock out Zalgiris.

You can actually see him cringing. There were people waiting outside the ground earlier when they trained waiting to get their Yanited tops signed. ****ing idiots.

My neighbour was ''heading out to see Ole'' earlier. I told him training was closed and he wouldn't be allowed in.

The disappointment in his face was the highlight of my evening.

Did they really get a little plaque for Solskjaer in that picture above? :o
