Just want to say thanks man as it's a great service you give us, it's fantastic.
It may be a great reason to get out and get some air this weekend now for the rest of us, perhaps you should do this more ;)

Not sure if anyone got a chance to see this, but TV3 Midweek had a behind the scenes segment on ATC in Dublin on last nights show. It was nice to see the faces behind some of the voices and of course see what the inside of the tower looks like.

Here's the link: http://www.tv3.ie/3player/show/192/68253/1/MidWeek, it starts around the 20 minute mark :)

Sorry people, my feed is going down a day earlier than planned, as in tonight at approx 10pm.

Reason is that I gotta do a bit of maintenance on the pc (hoover it out etc) and use my sound "line in" to test a few bits of backup audio gear in prep for the upcoming party gig (not Flightfest but my mums 70th:)).

Will hopefully be back up and running on Sunday evening with the EQ turned back on to feed settings to cleanup the hiss we have had since its removal.

While im gone don't just stop listening, please support the other two feeders.

Thanks for listening in, and im asking everyone have another think (and post) about what freq should be in the everyday lineup. its a bit cluttered at the min in my own view.

    Pat.

Thanks for the link, nice to put some faces to voices... :)

Good to see it, had to stick with it though as the intro almost put me off. "...do you ever think about how dangerous flying really is..."

LiveATC fans, finally nailed the issue with a Rasberry Pi feed to provide Dublin Tower ATC. (online/offline)

http://ie.farnell.com/raspberry-pi and a couple of bucks to dave in liveatc for a memory card with software on it or paypal him 75 usd for the working setup.

He has said he'll put clubs and smaller airfields up, so if anyone has a scanner and 75 usd email him from the liveatc site contact details and increase the coverage. I'd love to hear weston but don't have coverage.

Never had any issue with the volume via the app on my phone. Just gave it a whirl there and it's loud and clear.

Does anyone know if the app that broadcast the bray air show are broadcasting the commentary for flightfest? The sound at the bray air show was shocking but with the app I found it great as I was in an area that wasn't covered by the 4 small speakers they used. I think it was eventfm or something?? Can anyone shed any light?

Don't expect to be able get liveatc when you are on the quays, usually at large gatherings the 3G network takes a hammering as so many people are in the one place trying to connect to the network at the same time.

I'd lose the RYR and EIN ops for the day. The freqs will break in for regular ops and block out ATC.

There are three dublin ATC feeders, all are posters here.

Mine, is the first feed in the list of three.

On the Iphone app you go to country / Ireland / EIDW / EIDW "del/gnd/twr/app/central"

Thats my feed, thanks for listening.

I have a dedicated flightfest feed up and running on liveatc. If you search for EIDW it will show up there. I will have it on today for a few hours to test it and there a few aircraft doing test runs. I can hear the aircraft really well. I will leave it running from about 1200 tomorrow until the event is finished.

Removing a few upper freq now and ops etc adding in weston just to test for a while

I am going with 119.6 as that is the circuit freq and the one they will call before starting the run. I have added eiwt to my normal feed as well I have been able to move the antenna a bit higher and can receive it here.
