I know its not eidw feed related but......listening to EINN high level control and just herd something odd, AIC144 reported they had an aircraft riding along with them up close, "piggy backing". not showing on anyones TCAS or on primary or secondary radar, very odd. the archive @0243 should have the conversation with atco and cactus700 asking could he see anything!

lol in case anyone's wonder why I'm listening to it at this hour on a Friday night.....back pain is a bitch.

Lots of delays in Dublin. Some planes are waiting in the gusts to halve before they can depart.

    FR9445 go around, wind warning.

Getting interesting now, EIN695 diverting to Belfast. A lot of planes returning to stand two ryanair's have requested approach. One of them was quite funny, "if anything goes wrong we will divert to Shannon"

Aran 27GL has just gone around at DUB, extreme turbulence below 100ft and wind shear. They are off to hold in ULTAG and see what they are going to do and check with the company how Belfast is.

    Could be an interesting evening.

    Gusting 39knots.

Some noticeably strong gusts now in Dub. I think the winds will be moving to a southerly direction so we should see a switch to runway 16?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,061 ✭✭✭keith16

Gusting max over the last hour has gone from

    31 - 45 - 51

RYR668 unable to take off with current winds.

Very quiet in here by the way.
