    its not a paid service, you gotta know that its a donation only in order to try to get a free voluntary service back up and running.

    might have live feed from about 8pm onwards each evening for the next while till i get something sorted, most weekends should be full time.

    Do you have a target amount you need to collect?

    Is there a spec of machine you need that s someone could possibly donate if they had spare ?

    Just seems a bit odd firing off cash through PayPal when it's not clear what the objective is here

    Yes I have a target, but forget donations reaching anything like the replacement computer that im gonna have to buy. It does much more everyday than supply the feed for here.

    Its gonna be tough for me to get back to where i was yesterday morning and there is little point in buying the same spec and not upgrading.

    I dont have the space or extra network port to run a cheap ATC dedicated device.

    Dont worry about it seeming "a bit odd" it is! but you dont have to, no worries, I will get it sorted myself as soon as possible.

    I actually enjoy checking how many listeners are on at any time and trying to improve the quality of reception for them.

    Now the worse news, my work dont want the feed software running on the diag machine, worried it might have holes in or when running may "wear out" the machine! I admit it isnt a laptop really more a specialised tool €16k worth. So im off air until the new puter sorted.

    Pat, for all you've done for the Boards community here, I think you deserve a dig out from the powers that be at Boards.ie.

    Any chance a mod could put in a word for a little help?!

    It might be slow and painful trying to get back on your feet, so to speak. Maybe a Go fund it page as an option also.

    Dude, you responded my post but ignored the questions in it.

    No one has suggested any impropriety on your part but if you're taking donations you need to be completely transparent. To be frank you're not being transparent.

    The whole live atc thing is based on volunteers so if you're not in a position to volunteer, then maybe you should pass the baton.

    Go ahead man, work away, just contact live atc and they will approve your stream, we need at least one more feeder for Dublin for redundancy cover if nothing else.

    No baton to pass, you just dedicate to do it and go!
