    Proof!
I'm in Dublin, bought mine in the presale so that might be why I got them early?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,833 ✭✭✭NufcNavan

Got mine in presale too, no sign yet though.

No rush on them but it's always nice to have the comfort in mind to have them in your hands.

Same here :( I'm still debating whether or not to get a seated ticket and hang about up there on my own. Don't know why I was expecting standing tickets to still be available at this stage.

Queens AND Mark Lanegan in the same few weeks...it's just too exciting!

I'm fairly sure you can just get a lift down from the seating area and go to the standing area.. I know I went down there by accident before and no one said anything..

    Tickets came this morning. Delighted.

I think you can go down by stairs too. They only sell the merchandise and t-shirts at the side of the standing area afaik, so that's one excuse to go down.

At AC/DC they had stalls up on the seating areas too

It's true: SWEETHEAD will be opening for QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE on select dates in Paris, the U.K., and Ireland this November!!!!!

Presume this means both Dublin and Belfast.

Sweethead is Troy Van Leeuwen's other band, with his wife Serrina on vocals.

They're doing that Itunes Live festival next Friday (6 September) which will be worth watching/listening to.

Troy on stage twice...sweet! Saw them support TCV, were alright at best.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,813 ✭✭✭LostArt

I thought they were ****e when they supported TCV tbh

The bar will be busy while Sweethead are on so.

Ireland missing out on Band of Skulls supporting!

QOTSA rank up there with the best bands I have ever seen live. Just so... electric. Crowd is always buzzing, music in banging, every song is a sing-a-long, and always guaranteed some laughs.

Remember when they played Slane - Red Hot Chilli Peppers were the headline but were so outclassed by Queens it almost wasn't fair.

I was there that day. Such a great line up..... and RHCP!

Haven't seen them live since so I'm really looking forward to the O2.

Was hoping Nick would be playing bass in the nude (no homo) that day, but he wasn't :(

Ah a great end to the year to look forward to. Soundgarden in 2 weeks and QOTSA twice in November.

    Good times!

Will there be extra Luas trams on the night for getting back after the gig?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,813 ✭✭✭LostArt

There usually are for any o2 gigs

  • Registered Users Posts: 169 ✭✭DoctorDre

Any chance of more standing tickets becoming available?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,307 ✭✭✭weiland79

I usually keep an eye on Adverts.ie for tickets around the time of a gig you can get lucky.

toutless.ie looks like a good place if you're stuck. (sorry, if I'm not supposed to link to other websites)
