Yeah was thinking that but if I miss that I'm paying 50 quid for a taxi so bit wary about it , wasn't sure of the walking time between 02 and D'oliver st, might chance it though see how I feel on the day

Could get a try to taxi from the O2 to D'Olier Street

Did you select Box Office collection maybe? Although if you can print them off, then thats why you haven't "received" them, you just have to print them off.

Shall be 9th time seeing them, can't wait for it!

Nope i got them in pre sale, the same way as i always have, was just wondering why i still had not had them posted out. No odds anyway, cant wait for it now.

Saw Mark Lanegan this week...it was a very chilled show, but definitely has me in the mood for QOTSA now!

    They will!

It's possibly become my favorite Queens track!

Based over here in Basel, Switzerland with work currently and headed along to the QOTSA gig last night.

I had been told that Swiss crowd were a little quiet to put it mildly but nothing could have prepared me for what I witnessed last night at the gig.

The most muted crowd I have ever seen.

The only song they went MILDLY nuts to was Little Sister... To which Josh commented after song "We should just keep playing this one...!" lol

In terms of the band... sounded great... great setlist... 'I Appear Missing' got played :)

Dublin should be great with a proper crowd!

    :D

I know it's a long shot but did they play much from the debut album?

Can't wait for this gig, 2nd time seeing them 1st in Ireland

Here are the last couple of setlists from the start of the Euro leg of the tour, they are all fairly similar so expect something along these lines for the Dublin set.

    Switzerland last night:
You Think I Ain't Worth a Dollar, but I Feel Like a Millionaire
    No One Knows
    My God Is the Sun
    Hangin' Tree
    Burn the Witch
    I Sat by the Ocean
    …Like Clockwork
    In the Fade
    Misfit Love
    If I Had a Tail
    Kalopsia
    Little Sister
    Fairweather Friends
    Smooth Sailing
    Make It Wit Chu
    Mexicola
    Sick, Sick, Sick
    Go With the Flow
    Encore:
The Vampyre of Time and Memory
    I Appear Missing
    A Song for the Dead

    Munich 5th Nov

I saw QOTSA during the summer at Open'er, they absolutely tore the house down.

Can't bloody wait for Sunday week, I've got Monday booked off work too!

    *Hums Burn the Witch happily*

Does he do any other kind?

I've - for some reason - seen him 3 times now, was bored after a half hour each time... yet I still like him.

    Basically, I'm an idiot.

    At least you realise :Pac:

Saw him 3 times too, met him after Isobel Campbell gig. Could listen that voice all day.

You could have just got the lift down to the standing anyway, I think they let you do that :P

I wish it was that simple but the last time we tried that, the o2 actually had somebody checking tickets on the 2nd floor before people got into the lift! Sure it doesn't matter now...looking forward to hearing I Appear Missing next week :)

From their recent Dusseldorf concert. Josh sounds ****ing amazing, roll on Sunday!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,950 ✭✭✭Pinturicchio

Can't wait for this! They're sounding amazing live at the moment. They're throwing in some fairly rares ones into the setlist too. They opened with
    'Medication'
    in Holland on Saturday.

I'm after buying seating tickets by mistake it seems, I have never bought seated in my life but they just arrived and they are BLOCKN, row 37.

Checked the email and it confirms, looks like I ****ed up when I was buying them. Have I any hope at all of TM switching for me?

I doubt it if there are no standing available, but no harm in contacting them and chancing your arm.

What's the O2's current set-up like? In the past, if you were in seating, you could just kinda stroll into the standing section. That's hardly the case for this when standing tickets are at a premium?
