Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi guys...
    have probelm with my k5 750
    the fan wont kick in...i know it should kick in at 82degrees...
    fan is in workin order...
    and i just changed the fan switch on the radiator...
    anyone out there who could advise me...

    There's a fuse for it under the seat. Check it.

    I dont think that 82 C is the right temp. My fans are kicking in exactly on 101C
    But i bet u know better

    cheers mate will run her 101 see wat happens...
    and i dont know better my fan was oroginally kickin in at 81 degrees...
    haynes manual states 82 for fan switch to kick in..
    i bipassed the switch and the fan kick in alright..
    my engine light even flashes when she gets over 90 odd...
    i havent ran her to 100 degreed since this started happening..
    i am afraid i will blow her...


    wat year is your bike..
    mine is 06 reg but k5 model..

    100 degrees the new switch cuts in at...just ran her there fora bit..
    my old was obviously faulty cuttin in at 82 before it stopped workin.

    Glad u sorted. My bike is running usualy 79-81C when driving easy 85 crazy ride and 101 is max while standing on lights thats when the fan kicks in

    But i had 115 on KLE any day ,125-130c on tdr driving... Lol

    So 100C will not blow it or something.

    Fan on my blade doesn't kick in until 106C, 82C is way too low for it to be needed
