Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Excellent!

Seems like a lot of people are up for a boards beers and are liking the idea of Revfit 2 as the meeting place.

I'll chat to Hanley and find out when Revfit2 will be up and running and we'll be able to talk about dates...Im guessing it'll be towards the end of Sept.

    What about it?

Also there's several Foundry gyms in london. Most of them are BB gyms. One is an ok Powerlifting gym.

Moving to London and will be working in the City. Just looking for a decent gym in the RAW mould if possible.

The one I was looking at was on Artillery Passage in the City.

Foundry in artillery passage is a PT gym. I reccommend gymbox at bank as agood gym. Bit up market in decor compared to raw but they've got some of the best equipment in the city

And if they get enough pats on the back then free cupcakes for all (yes this is real life)

So after doing only Goblet squats and Trapbar deadlifts before trying to use a Real bar is a humbling experience but it'll be a rewarding one.

But in all seriousness at 10 euro per month and with free pizza/cupcakes Planet Fitness gyms have to be the best.

At that price if you made really good use of that free pizza night every month it would probably work out cheaper pound for pound than most pizza places.

So if you think about it, you're basically getting a gym membership for free.

Anyone got any experience in ordering Shamrock gym? Ordered it 2 and a half weeks ago and still hasn't arrived. Hardly a gimmick is it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭amazingemmet

Have you been brainfu*ked today? No? Well try this. Let the record state I got to 5 mins 3seconds. Anyone who can finish the whole thing wins signature bragging rights. And its fitness related, in fact I think for Hanley to move rev forward he should start going in this direction. any way with out much further ado.

Thanks for that. Had any experience with Fitness First chain? Will be one in my apartment block and work will get me preferential rates. Unlikely to be exactly gym I'm looking for but convenience factor may win out.

Fitness first are cheap but can be lacking in facilities. Its 50/50 if they'll have a squat rack.
