Nope, one of the disadvantages if not playing any instrument :D
Ahhhhh the joys of having 0 musical talent/ability

It's quite good to learn music for a bit :)

I don't play anything any more but I used to play keyboard for a couple of years then I gave that up and started guitar for a year and drums for like 2 months. I now have a keyboard an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar and I don't use any of them :pac: ..Mostly cos of time but it was a great experience.

But it's a bowed instrument
I'll do it if they accept the triangle.

Oh no! There will be no mentioning of triangles, pentagons or hexagons :p

    What about the pentagram?

I play bass, guitar and a bit of basic piano, tried to learn saxophone and cello as classical instruments but the sax reed cut my tongue and the cello made me paranoid that it would explode every time I tried to tune it. And it cost 50 Euro when I broke a string.

The only thing I can play is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the Tin Whistle and a bit of the drums.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,971 ✭✭✭✭peekachoo

I can relate, I broke 2 strings on the school cello when I played it with the school...but a heavenly sound from it :D

I played the piano and Irish trad flute for my Leaving, and play some guitar too. Then I just dabble in stuff like bass, cello, tuned and untuned percussion whenever the orchestra was stuck and learned Inis Oírr on the concertina - both upside down and the right way up (I'd never seen one in my life) :pac:

Ooh, and ukulele, but everyone plays that these days :P I played it before it was cool #hipster

    Wanna buy some violin lessons?

    Okay listen carefully

First of all, you're going to need a white van. Something like this.

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR23Izrf59OCjC9M2jvMVMXnXGqVj3QcLDv4rPsIWvRxRViklYE

Now, write "Free candy" or "Hogwarts Express" on it. Then wait outside schools and parks and get kids to get into the van. You know the rest...demand that they send their kid to your violin lessons before you release them.

Do not try this at home
..like I said school or park

    Disclaimer: Don't actually do it

Finally, my ride to Hogwarts has arrived, I totally knew the owl must've gotten lost on my 11th birthday.

Also, a moustache like this guy would really entice the kids into your van. You should really consider growing one. ;)

Another disclaimer - It may also entice the police into your van.

It? The van or the children? Either way it means the van was afraid due to my prime physique or the children knew I dont play violin.
