    'Tis nothing to do with friends in high places tbh, mods are picked because they're good contributors, "get" the ethos of boards (insofar as that can be judged), etc.

    Ah here, don't use bold text when you're not a mod. I had a split second moment of "oooh, mod note, must be drama", which was then quickly extinguished when I saw it was only you taking the piss. :(
