Aye suicide is a very tragic thing. But to jump in front of train.

Why would he put his family through the added tragedy of seeing that?

Suicidal people don't really think like that :/

Also, sometimes it could be the family that they're trying to get away from

Yeah I made a post about it but I wasn't completely sure if it was a suicide. It wasn't in the news or anything and Irish Rail said 'an incident happened'.

The whole taboo over mental health and suicide is unbelievable
I agree on the broader principle, but in fairness it's not IR's job to make a determination on what happened and announce it.

Much hope of winding up the two lads if ye lot are gonna spring to their defense! :p

(And for the record, I played a bit of rugby myself in my day, albeit casually and VERY badly, so tisn't as if I actually have an anti-rugby bias! :pac:)

Unless it was his only method or like you said it was his family he was trying to get away from and he didnt mind the thought must have gone through his head.

Oh god no. I was talking about not being sure if it was a suicide or not.

I wasn't relating the taboo thing to it, sorry.

Edit: I still phrased that badly..forget it

Yeah maybe..I was just going with experience

Jesus could you imagine if every suicide was announced so publicly.

Today John Doe commited suicide at platform XYZ in front of train 123. This will cause delays. Thank you for cooperating.

My friend was doing work experience in the train station and on his first day someone jumped in front of a train.

It's just horrible and everyone was complaining about being stuck in a station in heat when there's bigger problems elsewhere to be dealt with

In all fairness they were probably just told that there was a serious delay and if your day depended on this train and you had to wait in this heat you would complain too.

    Yet Eircom has not. Ahahahahaha

Eircom has a three strikes rule where if they catch you downloading stuff three times, they cut you off.

Other ISPs still have 2 days to comply.

Just looking at that page pisses me off, my freedom on the internet is being limited by multinational entertainment companies, an unelected 3rd party

So you occasionally want sexual harassment?

Hmm 45 minutes of a 2 hour show is quite a bit. I assume youre watching and not preforming if your willing to be 45 mins late.
