Why would he put his family through the added tragedy of seeing that?

Suicidal people don't really think like that

Also, sometimes it could be the family that they're trying to get away from

The whole taboo over mental health and suicide is unbelievable

I agree on the broader principle, but in fairness it's not IR's job to make a determination on what happened and announce it.

Unless it was his only method or like you said it was his family he was trying to get away from and he didnt mind the thought must have gone through his head.

Today John Doe commited suicide at platform XYZ in front of train 123. This will cause delays. Thank you for cooperating.

My friend was doing work experience in the train station and on his first day someone jumped in front of a train.

It's just horrible and everyone was complaining about being stuck in a station in heat when there's bigger problems elsewhere to be dealt with

In all fairness they were probably just told that there was a serious delay and if your day depended on this train and you had to wait in this heat you would complain too.

Eircom has a three strikes rule where if they catch you downloading stuff three times, they cut you off.


Other ISPs still have 2 days to comply.

Yea I can see us trying to be the saviours of the digital world.

The government will attract the eye of Anonymous and it will cause all sorts of trouble. Why cant they be cool like Iceland.

Guys I have to be somewhere in town tomorrow but I can only get the bus into town, I've been lounging around town for the past 2 days there's nothing left to do so would yee rather be stuck doing nothing for an hour and 50munutes or 45 minutes late to a 2 hour event?

Hmm 45 minutes of a 2 hour show is quite a bit. I assume youre watching and not preforming if your willing to be 45 mins late.
