I thought ye had it when ye scored that goal in extra time, which btw was a serious goal

A serious, illegal goal :P Didnt know at the time but heard it was a blatant square ball! Thought it was going to be one of those majestic finishes though :/

'twas debatable wether it was a square ball or not. He started moving into the square at the same time as the ball, so in my eyes it wasn't a square ball

Well whether it was or wasnt(fair play to Ray tho) it just simply wasnt enough in the end.. Best performance we had against KK in championship since '59 though, so credit where its due. (In that every meeting since we lost inside the 70mins)

All ye needed to beat them last night was a bit of luck, but ye didn't get it.

I have to say it makes the championship a whole lot better to watch when there's close games like that, especially when watching as a neutral

I think we'll be back tho :) Bar Brick and Prendergast the rest of our team is fairly young and should keep coming for a while yet what with our minors being very competitive for the last couple of years also Im praying it converts into some sort of silverware!
I didnt realise at the time it was an exciting game for neutrals though, I thought it was just the unreal atmosphere in the ground that had me jumping but I hear loads of people thought it was a great game, which is nice to hear :)
    Whos your county Daniel?

There was a few scrappy patches in the match but after all it was only qualifiers ;) but it was exciting to watch as it was close, especially from 60mins on.

I'd be a tipp man meself, disappointing year for us this year.

Your scumbag number 10 should have been sent off without a doubt. Bitta pushing then he comes in and escalates the whole thing. Delighted he got flattened :D

Fair play to Meath, heads held high, good game.

Yeah I agree haha, he shouldn't have intervened, it just escalated the whole thing.

This is killing me now :(

But yeah that's definitely the link..maybe she knows someone that goes to my school

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,207 ✭✭✭decisions
