basically, its to keep the soil tempature up, which increases grermination rate, quicker germination which results in higher yields

jaysus yeah, shur why would ya stay at home, depressed about not doin aswell as ya wanted when theres craic to be had. i reckon the worst thing you could do is sit at home and think about it

i know someone who did alot worse than they thought they would, and tried there best to get out of goin out results night, but was basically made go out. he had been lying on his bed, not moving all day he was so depressed with his results.
he said that goin out was the best thing he could have done. and advised completly against staying at home no matter what you get in the results
