The books are so so so much better than the series. Don't know how they whittled the content down to make the show. Although the author still hasn't finished the book series (or killing off characters). :P

Yup the book is so much better BUT the series is actually really good compared to how ****e other movies/shows based on books are.

Yeah they are very well made and cast, and giving a huge boost to the Northern economy which is always nice. Some adaptions are really horrible, I nearly pissed myself laughing when I first saw this. Animated Lord of the Rings from the 80s just does..not..work. Just wait for the Witch Kings to talk. :P

I think George RR Martin himself writes one episode per season. The series is a huge boost to the NI economy but it's using it less and less. The scenes filmed in NI are Winterfell, Iron Islands and other cold/dull areas. Kings Landing and the like is filmed in Morocco/Malta I think.

He played Predator in AvP2 and the Engineer in Promethus aswell as the mountain. The guy who designed the Predator Alien and the designer for Darth Vader and the Empire troopers are going to be there too. Shall be nerdgasmic.:D
