Old slides onto digital

Hiya found load of old slides, 30 yrs plus that I wanted to convert to digita. Wud anybody know the most cost effective way of getting these transferred? Looking at online they seem to be charging a €1 per slide! Cheers

Buy an Epson V500/700/750 scanner and scan them yourself. REally capable scanner. IT will be a bit time consuming. You can then sell the scanner and it will have only cost you a small amount in comparison to €1 per slide.
