Primula Vulgaris...........but which one?

Please help. I have this growing in my garden but do not know what it is. It is a primula vulgaris alright but which one? http://fineartamerica.com/featured/primula-vulgaris-rebecca-sherman.html This is the only photo I can find online. It is a VERY dark red colour, almost black. Any ideas please let me know. Thanks so much

I could be wrong but it kind of reminds me of a chocolate cosmos plant

Is that a photo you took yourself?
There are LOADS of primula as I'm sure you know.
Is it double or single? Looks double in the photo.
Does it have a yellow eye?

There is one called primula cowichan 'garnet' which could match the colour. But that's a shot in the dark.
