I'm one of the only non-anonymous posters on here.

I've got nothing to hide in that I never get the ride, which is what most of my posts are about, if anyone has the time to investigate.

Fair enough, but it just looks clumsy.

You seriously didn't know what handle meant? I would have said username but i though handle was a pretty common term.

It was a more common term amongst ICQ and IRC users.

    The Kew Tour

I'm sure there are lots more I can't think of just now.

Yes, perhaps this is where i got it from, as a former CB enthusiast. Swear i heard it on sky news recently though. Thought it was in common usage.

I think they're a thing of the past but they were cracking fun. Pity more people didn't take an interest.

Vladimir Kurtains is a cool name. I also like boneyarsebogman and The Backwards Man, a Tom Green reference I think?

I'd love one. Can you pick up any other frequencies apart from other users?

Backwards Man is cool, i've seen that. Yours is cool too. Makes me wonder where you got the inspiration for it, or heard it.

This thread has value, fu/ck you to anyone who doubted it.

Not sure. I had a scanner once that could pick up everything from radio stations, to the airport to taxi firms, to cb users. Also had one that could pick up the guards, but i reckon they have moved on to more secure tech since then.

If more people had cb's back in the day, it would've been a proper hoot. Do truck drivers still use them?

Thought it might have been a reference to a left handed darts player. James Wade maybe.

Yeah we had one of them in the house back in the day. That was when you could pick up mobile signals too, we earwigged on loads of stuff...mostly about putting on the chips and getting teabags, but the occasional shex line dude beating off.

Theres free apps you can get for your smartphone that let you use CB channels through your internet (using phone as the mic/receiver).
I used it before but it was weird .....constantly people cursing each other out of it for minutes at a time. Real gathering point for oddballs.

One four, one four for a copy ?

    What's your handle ?

How many candles are you burning ?

Ah, the early eighties. C.B.s, leg warmers and Fame on the telly.

My user name is not a user name. Am I out of contention ?

    I'm nominating myself, because:

    1) What's cooler than Lego? Nothing. That's the only possible answer you can give without being mocked, ridiculed and banished from any social group that find out you think something is cooler than Lego.

And b) What's cooler than misspelling (especially when you're talking about the word Lego)? Case in point: look at all your so-called 'cool' friends on Facebook. Can any of them spell? No. Does that ability - that surely anyone rational would find irritating - only serve to somehow enhance their swag? Yes.

    Leggo. See?
