    Anyone else get invited?


    Starts June 17th
    OS: Vista SP2, Win7
    Windows 8 not supported.
    64-bit! 32-bit not supported.
    DX10 or DX11 GPU with 1+ GB of RAM,
    DX11 highly recommended
    25GB Free HDD space required
    Latest Origin version required

    Note that these do not necessarily represent the requirements for the final game.

    Yup,just need to make space for the estimated 25gb on my ssd they said is needed.

    If you have been invited to participate in the Battlefield 4 Alpha Trial, you have already received an email about it now, and the game will show up in your Origin games library.

    Besides that:
    - There will be no more invites sent out
    - There will be no other way to gain access to the Alpha Trial
    - There will only be this single Alpha Trial
    - Invitations have been random
    - Only people who have chosen to receive emails from EA could get the invitation, as it would be illegal to send emails otherwise.

    Seems thats it, you either got one or didnt.

    Download starts at 4pm, servers open from 6pm to midnight for 2 weeks only.

    Battlefield downloads are the only thing that max out my connection so shouldn't take to long.:)

    Is it allowing you to download now?

    Have 150mb so shouldnt take too long if it opens at 4.

    No not letting me d/l it yet but they might do a staggered time for different people to help to not congest servers?

    well lappy setup in work .... Lots off ppl going to be kicked off the so I can have all the net for my self ...and hope to have it before I go home. Downloading at home is just too slow for this :D

    doubtful..this is EA we're talking about..it wouldn't be a proper game launch for EA without congested servers**

    crap..no win8 support..
    I could always reinstall Win7 for the trial period..no harm in clearing out the old ssd anyway..but is it worth my while?

    I have been invited, but the ****ing alpha trial is nowhere to be found in my origin list. I've tried refreshing/loging out etc. Nothing works.

    Have I missed the download window or something ??

    Would suck balls if that was the case !

    Yeah I'm the same, got the invite but it's not appearing. I suspect that it might appear eventually and EA support dont seem to have been briefed on it properly so I wouldnt read too much into what they are saying. I'm not too worried either way
