Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As a natural brunette who used to be blonde and have gone back to my own colour, I'd recommended putting some red in your hair before the brown, to prevent it going that greenish hue you see sometimes.

At the end of the day, it's always going to look better if you go to the salon, and if you can afford it, do it. However, it will look fine if you do it at home.

Sorry for hijacking your question, but when I had highlights done (with foil), the hairdresser always put in the highlights first and filled in the rest with colour. If I put in a red hue colour, will it take the bleached hue from my hair?
Please recommend that red hue colour!!!!!!! Thanks

Just to note, if you do put red in first then going back to blonde in the future will be very difficult, if you do decide to. Its incredibly difficult to lift red hair dye.

If you are doing it yourself and you have highlights and want to colour the rest of your hair, just wrap the highlighted parts in foil when applying it and when washing it out, wash the rest before taking the foil out. When it is all rinsed out, you can wash your hair as normal. It won't affect your highlights much at all as long as you don't rinse when the colour is still in. Look for 5/06 or a 5/6 colour.

Think that's what you were asking, if not, sorry :)
